About Your Papa Duke
Antler Pipe Tamper

Your Papa Duke Tamper
is Naturally TOUGH
It will withstand amazing levels of Heat and Abuse!
After each use simply wipe clean with a soft cloth or paper towel
and it's ready to use again the next time!
Burnt Tampers?
The Burnt parts some
of the Papa Duke Tampers are done with a Butane Torch
at roughly around 2400 Degrees Fahrenheit.
I've used my own Antler Tamper for several months with only
Minor Coloring similar to the results found in Meerschaum have been seen!
What did you think I used a nail?
No wax or varnish is ever used in the finish.
The Antler is sanded down by Hand through several stages, starting with
60 Grit sandpaper, then all the way down to 600 Grit.
Finally the Tamper is
polished with a Jewelers Polish at high speeds
on a polishing wheel to give the Tamper a High Gloss Shine,
Bringing out it's Natural Beauty!
Papa Duke Tampers are made from the
highest grade Deer & Elk Antler "Sheds"
Each year Deer, Elk and other species Shed their Antlers and grow new ones
throughout the
following year. Therefore, No animals are harmed in the collection and use of
the Antler.

About Papa Duke
Deer & Elk Antler Pipe Tampers
"Inspired and named after my
Grandfather, the late Duke Adams.
Duke Adams Handcrafted Briar comes to you through generations of pipe smokers
and craftsmen.
"Duke" was a man of integrity, and incredible foresight who loved a good smoke.
His quality workmanship has been passed down to me through many years of working
side by side with
"Papa Duke" in his shop in Tampa Florida.
Now those same principles, techniques and pride have been added into each Papa
Duke Handcrafted Briar pipe.
I'd like to add a special tribute to my Father as well, who not only carried on
the tradition of being Papa Duke
to my children but also for the skills and qualities he passed on to me.
They both are truly the foundation
of our family tree.
I hope you enjoy my contribution to your pipe rack as much as I've enjoyed
crafting it for you."
All my Best,
Papa Duke II
